MEMORIALS MOUNTAIN VIEW KENNELS is about quality of life. When one of my babies is no longer able to enjoy living, playing and eating - the decision to euthanize is made. It is never easy and it is never made in haste. I am blessed to have the services of wonderful Vet Clinics and knowledgeable friends for valued opinions. My dogs are forever treated with the respect and dignity that they deserve. If you feel your pet may be suffering and it is a decision that you are unable to make, please trust your Vet to make it for you. They, too, have the animal's best interest at heart. Crosby Doodle (Mr. Noodle) and me. This is a photo by Judith E. Strom - a friend of mine who is a very talented and famous photographer! This photo has appeared in numerous publications about Beagles. I got Crosby from a friend of mine in Kentucky. Although he was from "hunting stock", he turned into a wonderful competitive obedience show dog. Thank you, Jane Alexander of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, for starting me on a journey that will never end. Chuck was abandoned at 8 months old. He was an in-tact male Miniature Dachshund. He joined our family February 22, 1995. He was neutered February 23, 1995. Thank you Mission Valley Animal Shelter for Mr. Chuck (aka Short Pants)! Sadly, we lost Chuck on January 25, 2006. There is a huge hole in all of our hearts.
Jagr Arnesen Av Norjer CGC, CD,CDX - Jagr (Yawger) was my first Elkhound. He was the best dog in the whole world. Thank you, Jerrie, for letting me share my life with him. Jureina Arnesen Av Peer Gynt CGC, CD - Juri (Yuri) was my second Elkhound. Attitude in a pint size package. She didn't slow down until she was about 10. Marlene, you changed the direction of my life. Peer Gynt Turijelka Arnesen - Jelka (Yelka) was my baby that left way too soon. She is the reason I started JAERR. Baby Jack was given to me in March of 2008 because he wasn't bonding with his 11 year old owner. He was terrified of everything and everyone. Somewhere, someone really abused this little guy. We worked with him for two years and finally decided that his quality of life would never be a good one. Miss you little man.
